I was born and raised in the area of Washington State that is well known as the Pacific Northwest. With the Cascade mountain range to the east and the Pacific Ocean with the beautiful San Juan Islands to the west. My family had a love for the ocean, my summers were spent beach combing with my Mom and salmon fishing with my Dad. I was always trying to keep up with my three older brothers, but it never seemed to work, they were always bigger, stronger and faster than I was.
I was blessed to have parents that loved the Lord. I was raised going to church on Sundays and Youth Group on Wednesdays. I didn't start taking my own faith seriously until I was in high school when i made the choice to follow Jesus with my life. There has been plenty of both ups and downs, but still through the amazing love and grace of God I continue to pursue Him with everything that is in me.
My journey with the Lord has taken me to many places all over the world, I was able to go to Haiti with my church when I was 17 on my first ever mission trip, I lived in New Zealand for a year and a half studying the bible and sharing Jesus with people. In April of 2008, I had an amazing opportunity to be a leader for a high school mission trip to Germany and the Czech Republic where we spent nights in the streets sharing Jesus with prostitutes and anyone that wanted to listen and receive prayer. After joining the global mission organization called Youth With A Mission(YWAM), the Lord brought me to South America where i was able to reach people in Chile, Ecuador and Colombia.
Currently I am still with YWAM working with the School of Biblical Studies in Lakeside, Montana. I love the mountains of Montana, but i often miss the smell of the ocean.
